The word menarche is defined at the first menstrual bleed so is a lovely gift for young women to learn the cycle of their bodies, but can be worked with at any age to attune to waxing and waning phases of the body.
Your cycle always starts with a red bead, which represents the first day of your period and ends with a black bead, before the whole cycle begins again. Each bead represents a day in your cycle. As you complete a day, move the Moon charm past one bead. It's a way of keeping track of where you are in your cycle. The beads are the days and YOU are the Moon charm, moving through life one day at a time.
