What is a Wellness Garden?

A Wellness Garden is a place you can cultivate & handcraft herbal remedies,

based upon your own unique health needs and available space.

Plants can be placed either in the ground, or in a raised bed area,

by themselves or mixed in with other herbs and vegetable.

They are usually located close to the home, making it easily accessible, 

they can be designed as the heart of your landscaping 

and a place for you and your family to come together and connect,

or to be a simple and intimate space you can call your own.

​

A Wellness Garden is tended regularly to maintain the growth

and health of plants for the home gardener and crafter.

We do offer maintenance packages if requested. 

​

Plant Wisdom also offers workshops, or one-on-one lessons for

harvesting and processing herbs to produce medicinal teas,

fresh and dry plant tinctures, infused oils, and salves.

It all starts with a garden consult.

​

During the consult we'll work together to determine the best placement options of your Wellness Garden, the design, style and shape you'd prefer and find what will work best for your needs and budget.

 

We will also discuss the types of medicinal plants needed for creating home remedies, as well as any vegetables and culinary herbs that you would like to grow for incorporating into your kitchen dishes.

Our goal is to remove the stress and overwhelm from the set-up process and to create a beautiful Wellness Garden that reflects your style and goals. We'll work with you every step of the way to ensure you have the confidence and knowledge to create and grow.

 

Cost of the consultation is $75 and includes:

• Site and sun analysis to find the best location for your garden

• Review of garden design options and inspiration

• A Wellness Garden design (up to 300 square feet)

• Garden installation estimate

After the consult you can expect your Wellness Garden design and installation estimate. If proceeding with Plant Wisdom for the install the $75 consultation cost will be credited to the estimate.

Maintenance

​

Beyond the installation 'Plant Wisdom' offers several garden maintenance packages

including bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly to help you grow more successfully.

​

Maintenance includes compost refreshes throughout the season, succession planting,

pest control, trellising, pruning, and fertilizing.

​

This allows you to enjoy light tending and harvesting without the overwhelm of larger garden tasks.
